Use Policy

BILLINGS & PAYMENT

The billings policy for the various virtual server packages are as follows:

General

Receipt of Orders, Billings & Payments

Orders received will be processed within 1 to 3 working days or such other period as Anonym may notify. On activation, Anonym will notify customer by email.

Customer's server configuration information will be sent to you via E-mail.

Charges will commence upon activation of passwords. Your first month would be pro-rated as we bill by the calender month.

Billings will be via email (International clients) or normal mail (local clients).

All prices are subjected to change. New prices will be updated in our website. ·

Note: If you change the configuration on your server in such a way that it no longer works, Anonym will assist you to reconfigure your server at a cost of $90 per hour or part thereof (minimum 1 hour).

Payment of bills are to be made within 14 days from the date of invoice. Anonym reserves the right to suspend or terminate the services if the customer failed to make the payment on time. A reactivation fee of $30 applies to re-establish the services.

Payment is accepted in Singapore Dollars (for Singapore clients) or in U.S. Dollars currency (for international clients).

Payment is accepted in the following methods.

Bank or TT Transfer

Money Orders

Cheques (Checks)

Please note that all payment by bank transfers are subject to an additional S$17 or USD$10 surcharge.

All accounts are activated for a minimum 1 month period or according to the minimum period stipulated in the special packages offered by Anonym Technology. ·

All accounts are billed in 1/3/6/12 monthly intervals or in accordance with the terms stipulated in the various web hosting packages.

Termination of Services and Refunds

· Customers are required to give 30 days prior written notice for Termination of services. · Servers will terminate on the last day of the calender month. If the 30 days notice is not sufficient to cover the current calender month, your server will be terminated at the end of the following calender month. Charges will levied on a pro-rated basis for the remaining period until the server is terminated. · If customer terminates the services before the next billing cycle, customer will be refunded the remaining months of their pre-paid bill.
Important : *This does not apply to packages billed in 3/6/12 monthly terms* · An administrative fee of S$10 plus any postage, bank charges and disbursements is payable to Anonym Technology for any refunds paid out. · Refunds will be made out by normal mail via cheques.

Registration of Domain Names

· If we register a domain name for you, please be aware that Internic (or your local NIC) will bill you seperately for your name. InterNIC currently charges are US$70 for the first two years of use and US$35 yearly thereafter. SGNIC charges S$75 *yearly*. (This is subject to change by Internic or SGNIC)

Virtual Site Mantainenance

Customer shall be solely responsible for the set-up or configuration to access to the Web Services provided by Anonym at his or its own expense. e.g. website design, maintenance etc.

Customer shall also be solely responsible for all information retrieved, stored and transmitted through the Service by him and for managing the use of the storage capacity provided so that it does not exceed the capacity allocated to him.

As Anonym respects the privacy of the users, customers will be solely responsible to perform system backups on information stored within its virtual network system. Anonym is not responsible or under any obligation to provide historical data or to assist Customer in downloading, faxing or reading any of its or his electronic mails.

However, if customer do require value-added services to maintain their virtual network server, please refer to Anonym Web Maintenance service or email webmaintain@anonym.com.sg.

Technical Support

Anonym is responsible for supporting the customer in isolating specific problems that may be encountered in using the Anonym Virtual Server.

This does not include fulfilling any programming based requests, including cgi or software installation & debugging due to the design of your virtual site. We will however, try but are not obligated to assist by providing advice based on your description of the problem which you have encountered.

No technical support will be provided for third party vendor products outside the existing services. Please refer your questions to the vendor of the program if you have such a problem.

However if you wish to consult Anonym to provide added services and technical support for the purposes of installing/debugging your cgi scripts/software, please contact services@anonym.com.sg for pricing details.

Anti-Spam

Any unsolicited Commercial E-mail or "Spam" sent from any Anonym Account will not be tolerated. This includes any e-mail that promotes web sites hosted on an Anonym Virtual server sent from an email address not associated with an Anonym account.

A warning will be issued to the customer (or the reseller) after the first incident of a violation. The account will be terminated without any further warnings upon subsequent violations.

Anonym promotes net etiquette or proper use of the Internet through encouraging a culture of "consideration for others". Anonym customers are encourage to help promote good and proper use of the internet to make is a better place to surf.

Illegal Usage

Any illegal, abusive or unethical activity on Anonym Virtual Server will not be allowed.

Any Virtual Server used for illegal, abusive, or unethical activity may be deactivated immediately without any prior warning by Anonym.

Illegal, abusive or unethical activities includes, but are not limited to, pornography, obscenity, nudity, violations of privacy, computer hacking, computer virus, gambling, or promotion of gambling, and any harmful and objectionable materials or uses as determined by Anonym. Customer is solely responsible for their publications or use of illegal, abusive, or unethical materials.

Customer agrees to indemnify Anonym from any claim resulting from the publications or use of illegal, abusive, or unethical materials or any other offending materials, including (without limitations) those which are defamatory or infringe intellectual property rights.

Upon disabling a Virtual Server due to the above, the regular monthly or package fees will still apply until a time when the Virtual Server is terminated by the Customer. Any refunds of monies will be in accordance with the terms and agreement of the services.
